I like this person’s idea.

“Reuters went on to report that “just 28 percent of respondents could name more than one of the five freedoms listed in the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment — about the same proportion that could name all five Simpson family members or could recall the three judges on Fox TV’s top-rated ‘American Idol.'”

A very well-written piece, and one that I would tend to agree with. I highly recommend reading it (it’s pretty short and to-the-point).

“The assertion that the president is perennially “at the zenith of his powers” seems to be a common theme of this administration, doesn’t it? And the assertion that president is not claiming he has “a blank check that says [he] can do whatever he wants” rings rather hollow.”
