A Dictatorship by Any Other Name is Still A Dictatorship

“Unitary Executive” = “Dictatorship”

Call a spade a spade, and a coup a coup.

This is unquestionably unconstitutional.

This must be stopped or America won’t be “America” anymore.

Republicans need to step up and stop this, too, or else there won’t be either party anymore – Democrat or Republican – there will just be the wannabe-king and his “court” of supporters, any one of whom could find themselves shut out at his slightest displeasure. Congress would become nothing more than a rubber stamp, and the courts would cease to have any meaningful function.

All it would take to turn this into an Absolute Monarchy is for the office of President to become hereditary.

MAGA was never about “making America great again,” because America was never any of [*waves hands*] this in the first place – it was never a kingdom or a dictatorship or a “unitary executive,” and so far nothing about this is making anything “great” again for anyone besides a very, very, very few people at the very top.

They should’ve called it “Make America Not America Anymore.”
