I’ve gone back to South Mountain Reservation to try and photograph some waterfalls and get that “silky water” effect I’ve seen in so many photos – and just to get some photography done. It’s been too long since I’ve taken anything other than a picture of the rabbits.
The last time I went, this is what I found:
Luckily, this time it had recently rained:
Much better!
What do you think? Not quite like this one, but still… hey, I’m still new to all this! Gotta practice more!
You can see the entire set of photos here.
Enjoy!
Looks quite lovely to me!
Agreed, very nicely done! It looks like it was a bright and sunny day which makes waterfall photography a lot more difficult – dull and grey days are the best. So considering the conditions I’d say you’ve done very well! 🙂
Thank you!
Sorry about the hotlinking dude. Nice photography btw!
Wow! That third one on the bottom is really great! Looks like a very sweet place to go day hiking in, too.
It *is* a very sweet place to go day hiking – I love going there. Not many people realize just how many (rather large) state parks there are like this in New Jersey (it’s not all just oil refineries, I swear!)
