Well, it was bound to happen. I caught the flu. Actually, both Amanda and I caught the flu, at basically the same time (I caught it one day after she did).
And man, was it a doosey!
It left us both floored with medium-high fevers for nearly a week. My fever is gone, but I’m still coughing and my nose is still blocked up. I tell you, it was bad, bad, bad. I don’t wish that flu on anyone else!
So, if you were wondering why there were no posts this week, it’s because I was literally out of my mind with a fever and cold medicine. Here’s hoping I feel better soon!
Oh, and just as an aside – I’m trying out posting to my blog with Word 2007’s new “Blog Post” feature. It seems to integrate with WordPress quite nicely – we’ll see how it comes out in practice, though. However, I must admit – it’s pretty neat!
