Holy crap! How did November get here so fast?
As you may or may not know, tomorrow is November 17th – International Keith Day – a day which everyone should take off from work, school, etc. I’ve been trying to set an example by staying home from school/work on this day for the past 7 years or so.
Needless to say, I’m still having trouble getting this “holiday” recognized.
However, change often takes time, so I’ll keep trying – and I can always just use the excuse that November 17th is also my birthday to explain my absence. The rest of you will have to be more creative.
(Though if I recall, I think that last year I worked on my birthday – and the year before that, I think I was still “couriering,” so I definitely didn’t get a day off. This isn’t good!)
Be sure to wish everyone you meet tomorrow to have a happy International Keith Day! And try to stay home from work/school! It takes teamwork to establish an international holiday, y’know!
