Open Source Peru?

Read this letter, written by the general manager of “Microsoft Peru” to a legislator, regarding a bill that deals with open-source software.

Then, read the legislator’s response.

The legislator rips the Microsoft guy’s letter to pieces. It’s an incredibly enjoyable read, since it points out, at almost tedious length, the falsehoods in Microsoft’s position on open-souce software, and the contradictions within its own marketing message.

Highly amusing. (And both letters are available in the original Spanish, if you want!)
