Who Profits from Security Holes?
An interesting article. This guy takes a stock WinXP system and goes to ONE web site (using Internet Explorer, of course) – and gets 16 unwanted, unauthorized programs installed on his computer. For me, this isn’t a problem (I don’t run WinXP at home, only at work, and I don’t use Internet Explorer), but for the average user (e.g. my customers, my family) it can be almost impossible to avoid this kind of stuff.
