The partisanship going on in our government, the struggle between left and right, is now getting so strong, so violent, that I truly believe that it will destroy our American lifestyle (and perhaps our most treasured posession – our democratic government itself) in the process. This sort of stuff just has to stop.
I’ve read and heard a lot of good arguments for doing away with our outmoded 2-party system, and I think this article proves that this is a good idea. The 2-party system is just breaking down, and if we don’t do something about it, the two parties are going to take each other out – and we’re going to end up being casualties.
