I tried… and dad tried… and mummy tried too… but there’s no one available to come serve feed watch us while mum & dad are away, so we’ll have to go stay with the vet for a week.
I’m not happy about this… who will give me treats??

It’ll be okay, Gus. When Tidbit went to the Bunny Spa, they gave her Spa Salads every day and hugs and kisses! I just know they’ll do right by you and Betsy!
You will have fun! Just look real miserable about going and maybe your human will cough up some extra carrots because they feel bad. It works for me all the time!
Too bad! I would welcome two fine buns like yourselves into my home but I am in buffalo ny, a bit away, best of luck to you and betsy.
They will quickly learn to love you Gus. You and Betsy will be the toast of the office and get plenty of treats. What’s the address? we will send you treats, in case they forget.

Quick, Gus… email us your address and we will send you some special treats that mum gives us when she’s feeling guilty because she’s been away!
By the way, what kind of accommodation do you get at the vets? My mum says that our vet does not do bunnyday inn for couples, so we’re safe.
Dad says we’re staying at the “Englewoods Cliffs” vet in NJ. I’ve never been there, although Betsy has, and she says the vet, although scary, knows bunnies quite well.
Dad also said that ’cause Betsy and I are a pair, we get the 3 foot by 5 foot pen at floor-level with our own litter box, unlimited hay, and food from home if we bring it with us. He also said there’s no other animals there at the moment so no one will bother us (other than the two cats that live at the vet’s office – but I’m not afraid of cats, and they’ll be locked out away from us anyway).
I’m going to try looking really sad one more time, though – just in case he changes his mind!
We would concentrate on all the cool treats you will get when this is all over and you are back home again! Your mom and Dads guilt will be a great treat getter for you! Try to have fun!
How will you blog? Can you get the vet to let us know how things are? Will your Dad check in every day and post updates? WHAT IS THE PLAN???
Every vet we ever saw they treat bunnies real good, especially if the bunnies are not sick. The people there LOVE bunnies and they don’t get many. Just don’t go all soft on us .. practice much disapproval.
Don’t worry – he’s already giving me dirty looks, and we haven’t even left yet!
